Energy Sector Speednetworking Event
If you work in the energy sector or would like to network with people who do, join us!

The James Watt Centre at Heriot-Watt University
This event will combine interactive tutorials on networking skills with a practical speednetworking session (imagine speed dating) to practice new skills whilst developing new contacts.

Jill Simpson, Deva Training
Jill holds an honours degree from The University of Leeds, as well as qualifications in Business Management and Training and Development. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Training & Occupational Learning and has a wealth of experience managing and delivering effective training programmes with clients in the private, public and voluntary sectors.
Interactive Speednetworking session 7.15 - 8.30pm
Buffet and Networking 8.30 - 9.30pm
The Presentation
The presentation will be delivered by Deva Training who have developed innovative networking training, addressing the question of why do so many people find networking daunting. We think if you're giving up your very precious time to come to an event, your business should be better for it. This interactive workshop shows you how to win business and build relationships by becoming a confident and effective networker.

Registration will commence at 5.30pm with tea/coffee followed by an entertaining and enjoyable guide to improving your networking skills. This will be rounded off by a fun Speednetworking session where you'll have the opportunity to briefly engage with the other attendees. A networking buffet afterwards will give you the opportunity to catch up with anyone you missed, or further your contact with someone you already had an interesting conversation with.
